Our history
My dachshund is a princess on a pea. She doesn't like gravel, she doesn't like mess or when it's wet, but most of all she doesn't like it when it's cold. So we started looking for shoes early. We looked in all the big physical stores, we looked online and read what other people were using, but after a while we realized that there weren't any that suited her paws (or mood for that matter). I gave up.
Winter is here, there is salt and gravel on the roads, it damages the paws more than I was aware of. Did you know that several veterinary clinics recommend shoes for dogs from a couple of degrees below zero both to protect against the cold and to protect against salt that dries out the pads of the feet and can cause inflammation in the paws. Walking your dog where you know you risk hurting it is not fun.
As stubborn as my dachshund, I took the hunt outside the EU borders and found Wagwear in the USA. They make super cool stuff for our besties BUT as a private individual it is very expensive to import. Not to mention how difficult it would be to return it if the size didn't fit.
After a few meetings with them, I decided that we simply had to become a retailer. It's not just my dog who needs sensible dog shoes that are also stylish, but all the wolverines out there should have the opportunity. That's the way it is.
The goal is to collect the things that my princess on the pea likes, clothes, shoes - everything possible to be able to offer it to you!
